The Katherine chair was born out of a mistake. While creating a pair of Lydia chairs, I messed up a pair of frames and didn't realize it until it was too late. So, I was left with some really cool frames and no chair. I took some time to think and redesign. What came out of it was a chair that was more wood forward instead of upholstery forward. The shapes are similar, but the hope was to create a chair that had more character from all angles and could showcase woodgrain.
